Dude, I'm half-Indian and have always found that girls love dark-skinned guys, consider it exotic and sexy. Some may perceive Indian dudes, as less macho, so - you might want to butch up a bit. I've found it to be more of an advantage than a liability, but - I'm American and date liberal-arty chicks. So maybe that's different if you're British.

I came to USA 3 years ago and the school I go to is 99% white!! and for first 2 years white girls did not like me much!! they had that typical american thinking about Indian guys!! they thought that I was terrorist and talibani and I even got in trouble for it!! someone accused me of threating to bomb the school!! I was almost suspended!! But anyways now after 3 years white most of the girls in my school like me and they want to party with me!! They love my accent and all that!! There were even like 15 white girls who liked me from the day i entered school and they still like me!! but i cant go out and party since my parents are still 10th century India thinking!! They are typical rajasthani and want me to become an enginner and then marry a rajasthani jain girl!! But i am in love with this italian girl!! dont know what to do???

Indian guys are the most beautiful guys in the world.
Recently when a friend teased me about going nuts over Indian guys, I tried to use an analogy about how normally I'm a strict vegan, but once in awhile I go ahead and have a cupcake, because life is just too short.... so in effect, Indian guys are kind of like cupcakes, they are just TOO delicious even if you are generally a very good girl.
I think the analogy turned out rather badly. But you get my point.

I don't know what the general mood is in Tempe, Arizona, but I have a feeling it's a little more conservative and Republican. Ignorant republicans tend to lump all brown people together as a group not to be trusted. This disgusting habit seems to be less prevalent in more urbanized and Democrat-filled areas (like New York and Massachusetts). It could be possible that Indian guys since birth are surrounded with Indian women and when they find a white women gets attracted to them. Well, i don't know about that. but as a north indian guy, people always like me and welcome me, and mistaken me as American.
