A Many college graduations have already taken place. Congratulations to those New City residents who recently received their graduate or undergraduate degrees.

David Lugo of Elizabeth was presented with the 2012 New Jersey Robert Maher Outstanding Student Award at the Berkeley College Commencement Ceremony, held Friday, April 27, at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford.

At least 380 Berkeley College associates are expected to volunteer 1,500 hours of community service at 36 community agencies in New Jersey and New York on Friday, May 11.

"My perception was that architecture, as it was practiced, was a dying thing, that you had to get into building if you wanted to be independent of all these horrible structures and the monolithic architecture and engineering firms.

WHAT: March for Babies is the flagship fundraising event for March of Dimes. The dollars raised support community programs, education and research which promote healthy pregnancies and healthy babies for all families.
