Police arrested a 35-year-old Trinity County man who allegedly stole groceries and alcohol from Keith's Market in Covelo Thursday, according to the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office.

Families and friends are left with more questions than will likely ever be answered in the March 13 stabbings that left the suspected perpetrator dead in a high-speed crash, sent two Good Samaritans to the hospital with serious knife wounds, and left two Kettenpom residents dead inside their home.

One of the victims of the stabbing rampage that left two people dead and two injured in the small hamlet of Kettenpom has positively identified Tomas Pitagoras Gouverneur, 32, of San Francisco and Oregon, as the man who slashed and stabbed him, according to Trinity County authorities.
