We know where the pottery comes from.

We still have several viable manufacturers here. Ohio Stoneware, Hartstone Pottery, Burley Clay, Heritage Stoneware, and Beaumont Brothers Pottery all manufacture pottery in the Muskingum/Perry County area. Don't be fooled by import retailers, visit www.ohiopotterynorwich.com for the largest selection of locally made ware.

Regardless, The best pottery comes from the Crooksville-Roseville area. They had the best clays and products. Now, most are out of business. However, they are the capital.
