Injury accident near Zanesfield

The Marysville Post of the State Highway patrol reports that Joshua Shields, 23, of North Lewisburg, was driving an '03 Chevy Malibu northwest on County Road 153 when he went left of center and struck a '99 Ram 1500 operated by Gary Holycross, 56, of Ridgeway.

Updated: City crossing guard struck by school bus

An elderly female crossing guard was struck by a Bellefontaine school bus in front of Western Intermediate Thursday morning around 8:30. The Bellefontaine Police Department reports that Lajuana Briggs, 71, of 1014 South Main Street, Bellefontaine, was struck by a bus operated by Kimberly Reames, 54, of 4567 Township Road 147, Zanesfield.
