AmCan must cope with 'stage one shortage'

Hold a "Shortest Shower Contest" in your family, run the dishwasher only when it's full, and brush off the driveway with a broom, not a hose.

How about if the city does its part and turnes down the sprinklers on west american canyon road so they actually water the grass and not the grass
and the road and your car when you drive by.

then comes higher water costs as the city looses money as less water is used. once higher, it will never go lower. this has happened to city after city. time for the voters to act and force a vote to set water prices and control their city rather then let the city rule them as vallejo has let happen. it's kind if like the recycle snow job given. recycle and we will save the environment. ok. recycle, oops, we need more trucks to collect it, higher rates, now the cost of storing it and seperating it, thrown in makes costs go up. now what was sold as a self supporting system has cost more man power, more trucks, more storage etc. then collection cans are roobbed of alu and other items and both the city and the people that placed the items there loose. look close as what sounds good always seems to make costs go higher. yes, don't waste water but use what you really need. let that car stay dirty. make sure you water you lawn and trees, shrubs. just don't over water. plant things that are low water plants if possible. look at the new park areas being put in on broadway and look at the large lawn areas on automatic watering. what example is the city setting?
