Young, Arizona sheriff make list of anti-immigration officials
A Frederick County commissioner this week joined Arizona lawman Joe Arpaio on a political action group's list of the 10 most anti-immigration officials in state and local governments.
Bull Flat fire closures near Young, Arizona are lifted
"We continue to remind everyone who has recreation plans on the forest for the upcoming holiday weekend that fire restrictions are in effect on the Tonto National Forest," said Don Luhrsen, Pleasant Valley district ranger in a press release.
Bull Flat Fire 80 percent contained
Despite winds up to 35 miles per hour throughout the day Friday, the Bull Flat Fire has been reported to be 80 percent contained as of Saturday morning.
Fire burning about 9 miles northeast of Young, AZ
Tonto National Forest announced today a temporary closure due to the Bull Flat fire which began on May 10.
