Days after marriage equality proponents turned in petitions to the Maine secretary of state's office to put the question on the November ballot, both supporters and opponents of the measure are gearing up for a political fight.

The Museums of Old York has chosen Harmon House in York Harbor as the 23rd annual Decorator Show House.

Downtown business owners would like to see the York Village Fire Station moved off York Street, Cumberland Farms spruced up and, most of all, a traffic cop at the busy intersection of York Street and Long Sands Road.

The Harbor Hair Company Web site states, "You should expect a lot from your salon.
