I hope he jumps to the front of the line for his death sentence.

Even if he gets the death sentence. He will be on death row for 30 or more years.

More propaganda by Mr. Reisig. For those who don't know it, Jeff makes all the decisions to file or not file death penalty, so nice press release to show how tough the DA's Office is. Reisig loves death penalty cases since it gets his name in the headlines. After 3 years of working for this guy, he does not run this office for justice, he runs it for his political advancement. And no one can say or do anything about it.

Well I guess this throws out the theory of self defense. This means that Melvin must have been waiting for Keith to come home and then attacked him. Keith didn't have a chance, which makes me even more sad.

If the DA was not surrounded by scandal and controversy everyday, maybe people would not be on him so much. You must admit DA Reisig has had more questionable things in three years than the last DA had in 20 years. Where there is smoke---

No, not usually. This is the stacking of charges. Unless a murder is commited in the heat of the moment, the courts could stack that charge onto alot of murders. It will make this case much easier. With the special circumstance they can ask for the death penalty. An offer of life w/out parole or 25 to life then sounds good to the defendent when they offer that. This way it will not hang up the courts and cost as much money. The scariest part of this case is that it is being heard in Judge Fall's court room. He has a temper, and it is unknown what he would do at any given second. A judge that throw defense attorneys in jail if they make him made.

Funny you should talk about little men when Jeff Reisig is involved, poor little man needed to take steroids so he could get muscles to feel important. Does the phrase "little man complex" ring a bell.

Judge Fall expects those in his courtroom to show respect for the court. If you are disrespectful, then he will say something. If you appear before Judge Fall and show the court some respect, he is very nice. I wish more judges were like Judge Fall. He teaches criminals, and lawyers to respect the system. Maybe he will prevent someone from re-offending .... Keep up the good work Judge Fall!

DA Reisig does not like Judge Fall since he can't control him. Judge Fall needs to watch his back if he goes up against Reisig and his Republican backers. Dirty Politics in Yolo can be pretty dirty.

To think that the DA can "control" any judge is simply laughable...

Don't get me going on him. He can misinturpret, he can make an unreasonable assumtion, he can, on the record, scold attorneys, DA's, others with no cause, this does not need to be a part of the record, he has done it over and over. Some attorneys will not hear a case in his court room, they will send an assistant. Don't get me started. I have nothing more to say abot him.

Learn more about the system. The DA can and has in the past put out policy to .6 (point 6) a judge. This means that no Asst DA can or will have a case in front of that judge. The DA can get rid a one judge for no cause and by ordering this, he makes that judge useless. Don't think the Judges don't know this and don't think it has not been done. You sure have a lot of faith in the system, which tells me you have not been inside to see it first hand or have not been a victim of it.

Come on now. There is absolutly no reason to get like this on here. This is not the place to throw trash out and start trouble.
