Armenian Food Festival set for Visalia
St. Mary Armenian Church of Yettem is gearing up to host its 37th annual Armenian Food Festival on Thursday in a new location at the Visalia Elks Lodge, 3100 W. Main St. The menu, at $12, includes lulu or chicken kebab, rice pilaf, salad, peda bread and bourma, a sugary pastry made with walnuts.

Over 300 trek streets of downtown Visalia for Good Friday
Three Visalia Police Department motor officers led the way and cleared downtown intersections Friday afternoon for a walking procession of more than 300 Catholics, Presbyterians, Anglicans, Armenian Orthodox and those of other denominations.
