One little club in a small Oregon coast town seems to have put the "hot" in Yachats.

Seven hundred and fourteen feet above sea level, at the peak of a steep hillside that looks out over the Pacific Ocean, lies the last remnant of Jonathan Monschke's dreams.

Sections of the popular Cape Cove Trail, which runs from the Cape Perpetua Visitor Center south of Yachats to the coastal terrace trails just west of Highway 101, will be closed until mid- to late November for upkeep.
