The visitors leave trash everywhere. when they visit..im sure not everyone agree's that this is a good thing...........Only the 10 stores there make a profit and the ski resort...other then that its another waste of money.

Uh, there are more than ten stores in Wrightwood, not to mention several good breakfast joints, and more than one ski resort up there who's business in part depends on the weekend crowd using the Crest.
Ah, 240 glorious beautiful curves. Of course I will have my eyes on them, it has been far too long since I have had the opportunity to see a few of these.

I agree with Phil ...there are 3 resorts up there and more than 10 businesses...it's an awesome place and well worth the money! Exciting news for sure. We need to preserve the mountains and support the businesses or else they'll be gone before we know it. Waterman and Kratka Ridge are ghost resorts now and yet that's L.A.'s history right there in terms of skiing.

Williamson Rock still closed due to the green frog? Gives conspiracy sites much cred especially after reading Agenda 21.(keep the chipped slaves packed in the cities, eh Rothchild/Rockefeller..close down all wilderness) Pleasant way to enjoy life..Tuesdays- run the crotch rocket hard way up, hike for 6 hours, grab tequila at the Mile High Cafe and cruise home mellow. Thursdays, run the Mustang, hike Twin Peaks, down 4 beers and using both lanes, staying somewhat sideways running hard on way back to La Canada. Only downside..burn through set of Goodyears in 8k miles. That was 1999. Now?

No duh. 10 is a rounded number too bad you couldn't come up with a real number...cause its pathetic up there...Big bear is the next option...your better off spending your money where you can enjoy the whole weekend with other options than snow boarding...the place has a pond which they try to call Jackson Lake thats 10 ft deep and they dont even stock it cause of the budget crises...they offer nothing up there but a crowded ski slop and a bunch of punk kids who run it. Point is..it's played out..to many people such little space ...hope you catch some nice traffic up there as you take in that breath of fresh air...ha ha it's only 1hr 10 min from LA --Now really you think that's fresh air?

Daily Horoscope for November 16

Capricorn

New friends and faces can result from today's New Moon, so be open to the social possibilities it brings. You may be feeling pressure to keep up with the Joneses - perhaps your new circle of friends could be making you long for things you can't have at this time. If you're married with children, avoid hanging out with singles.Similarly, those who are single and long for the married life should think twice before joining an all-couples party.
