The Polytech School District will hold community meetings and provide crisis counselors to students and staff on the topic of suicide prevention.

WOODSIDE, Del. - Officials are working to provide counseling and support to students, staff and parents in the Polytech school district after three recent student suicides.

The Delaware Fire Marshal says a fire in Woodside this morning has been ruled an arson. Officials say Camden-Wyoming firefighters were called to the 500 block of Tuxedo Lane just after 4 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters – assisted by Magnolia and Felton crews – found heavy fire coming from a vacant structure. The fire was under control just after 5 a.m., and no injuries were reported. Investigators say the fire was intentionally set and caused about $50,000 in damages.
