On Feb. 6, 1972, Dalene Leasure, daughter of the late Junior and Hester Leasure, and Rodney Bettinger, son of James and Eva Bettinger of Caldwell, were united in marriage at the home of J.V.A. Traylor in Woodsfield.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amber; a sister, Mary Ellen Howell; a nephew, Charlie Schlosser; and a niece, Kathy Howell.

KNOWLTON, Mildred, age 84, of Market St., Clarington, Ohio, died Sunday, January 15, 2012 in Wheeling Hospital Medical Park, Wheeling, W.Va. She was born August 25, 1927 in Powhatan Point, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Mlik Smigill.
