A 45-year-old man has died from injuries suffered in a fire at his northern Wisconsin home, according to the Vilas County Sheriff's Department.
* Brittney Miilu, daughter of Thomas and Kathy Miilu, Wausau, will receive one of the prestigious Provost's Awards beginning this fall at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. The Provost's Award is a $1,500 scholarship that's renewable for three additional years for qualifying students.
