The Constitution doesn't say anything about landing man on the moon, but it happened.
Nor does it say, "In god we trust" should be printed on money, but it is. Constitution requires you to participate in the census; I bet you're one of those who harbors a conspiracy theory about that. Medicare started the slippery slope to gubermint run helf kare. Ask anyone with it if they would give it up for private insurance with higher premiums. |

Every argument that can be made against a government health plan can be made against insurance companies. Rationing, denial of treatments, high cost, uncaring administrators, are here today in spades courtesy, if one can call it that, of the insurance industry. There is nothing that I can see to recommend the current method of health care delivery. One think we won't see in a government plan is high paid executives. Even the Postmaster General makes around $250 grand a year, one of the higher paid government executives. Compare that to the millions per year top health insurance executives make, and the profits their companies make while denying care to others. If someone is alright with that while opposing a government run health care alternative, then I have to ask what kind of human being are you?
