Bobcat Spotted in Southbury
A Southbury resident spotted a large bobcat on Thursday around 6:15 p.m. on Main Street North near the Woodbury town line, the Republican-American reported. According to the paper, the State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has said that bobcats are becoming more common in Connecticut.

Walk to End Addiction Will be Held Sept. 5 in Woodbury
Participants will walk from Hollow Park at 6:30 p.m. to the Mitchell School and back. At the end of the walk, there will be a short candlelight prayer for those who have battled or are currently battling addiction.
