Following a guilty plea to wire fraud, a Winooski man was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court to 27 months imprisonment, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Burlington announced Tuesday.
The Winooski City Council is expected to decide this evening whether to buy a used fire truck to replace an old pumper truck that no longer works, Mayor Michael O'Brien said.
