There was a time years ago when the old Winedale Tavern on Lower Greenville Avenue was a decent place to grab a drink.

Over the years the most frequent question I get about my job is, "Do you ever run out of something to write about?" At least I don't have an idea I want to write an entire column about, so I think I'll just sit quietly and ruminate.

Austin suffers from no shortage of Shakespeare. Summer brought us the Winedale repertory, Young Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida , Austin Drama Club's Hamlet , and the Weird Sisters' A Midsummer Night's Dream .
