A Windcrest teen was arrested on one charge of murder early Monday after a fight at his home led to a shooting, police said.

Jeffrey Keller, 22, of Floresville was killed during a fight that erupted just after midnight at a home in the 700 block of Balfour Drive.

The manager of a water district believes threats of a hostile takeover are causing friction in his small community.

The federal government is trying to seize two homes in Windcrest, including one that residents say is one of the first built there, after indicting nine people on charges that include trafficking drugs and money laundering.

The City of Windcrest will be conducting a two-day warrant roundup. The roundup will take place on March 29 and March 30.
