Fire Kills 1, Injures Another At Mobile Home Park
A Mexican national trying to make his was in America died in a midnight fire Sunday. Officials have identified him as 24-year-old Jorge Espinosa.
The fire occurred at the Cottonwood Creek Mobile Home Park near Wilmer in the unincorporated part of Dallas County.
Carlos Espinosa, 22, was burned and is now at Parkland Hospital. Officials there say he is in fair condition.
The two brothers had only just rented the mobile home Saturday with their third brother, Roberto Espinosa, and a family friend, Ernesto Castro. The four had weekday construction jobs in Louisiana but needed a place near their employer for weekends.
