I haven't heard where they found it at, but I think they should have to tell the public who has it so you know if you may have came in contact with them.

tell the public? that not very nice!1 do you think that everyone in the area that gets a disease should have to tell little precious you? CONFIDENTIALTY!!
would you want someone to put it in the paper that you have a virus without you knowing? THINK ABOUT IT!!

i heard it was from goodman...not sure though...and i was a kid

Yea I do think everyone should tell precious little me! I don't want it, and if I know someone has it want to stay FAR away from them! I'm just worried about my family thank you very much, and for your information if I had it I would let people know. I don't want to make anyone else sick.

No one is trying to be mean "scs207", just want to keep our own children from getting it. But I do believe "Really" that they informed the family and aquaintances of the individual about it so they could be tested. But we all come into contact with people everyday that we don't even know, and I think its everyones right that if there is achance they came into contact with this person unknowingly, that they deserve to know of the possibility so they can get tested. That is how epidemics get started, leaving everyone in the dark and exposing us to the disease without enforming us of the possibility. Would any of you want your child to have come into contact with this person and you never be aware of the fact that they could have been infected until its too late. As a mom I think its the public's right to know. If at least just the location and places that the individual has been since they had became infected.

i totally agree. i would want ppl who may have come in contact with me to know if i had it, and would want to know if i came in contact with someone who had it. were not talking about someone who has aids, were talking about a dealy flu, and we need to do all we can to not spread this thing around.

My advice to you all would be to make sure you wash everything down with bleach water. I work in a public place, and we have been bleaching everything for a few months now.

I'm a nurse and I completely agree that people should be notified of places this person has been since they have been infected. I know they cant give names out but just posting a list somewhere of places the infected person has been would help tremendously. I know its scary. I'm afraid of packing this stuff home to my kids. Even if the person isnt in my office , The doctor I work for could have gotten it from the patient at the hospital and then carried it to our office. So I completely understand worrying about it. All I can say is. Use alot of hand sanitizer and wash you hands often. If you work in public places , change and bath immediately when you go home , before you touch your kids or anything . Every little thing helps.

I went to Fl for 8 days recently and it is 10 times cleaner than here. Where I was staying reported more swine flu than Mingo and I have no idea how. I didn't get sick the whole time I was out there. As soon as I came home and went to S. Williamson Wal-mart, I got the flu (24hr).

I think if we really new how many people had swine flu we'd be shocked at how high the numbers were. I live in the UK and have been following the news (via this page - http://www.swineflunewsportal.com/swine-flu-n... ), however when I see how many UK tourists are being diagnosed with H1N1 as they try to enter other countries it makes we think that the number of UK sufferers is way way higher than we are lead to believe.

I think the public should know so they can protect theri kids& family,I heard it is in chattory,borderland,west end willamson,but that the way it get spreaded so why won,t the health dept.tell the people ,I heard the ARH hospital,&ARH Skilled Nursing has it real bad,along with alot of bacterica infection,like staph,steph,mrsa,I know u have to wore gowns ,mask,&gloves if u go see people over there,and that why people get it and spread it around,the health dept.should tell the people,but they r afraid they will shut it down,the people who work there takes shots almost every month to keep from getting these thing and I think the people need to know.I sure would tell people if I had it ,so it won,t get speaded to everybody esle.thank you

amen and it would not hurt to use saline nose spray to koill bacteria it is drug free and is a good choice of prevention.. i do agree we should be made aware if it or any other virus is in the area as serious as this is !!i was exposed to 5 cases of mercia in the area the patients were told to keep mask on but would not was in isolation .. but they were allowed out to smoke the staff told them to go back to there room if they couldnt keep there mask on .. they refused and there was nothing that the staff could do is what we were told ..they never ask for this but to spread it because you are selfish and want your way is a shame !!!so people dont care about others we have to protect ourself..
