The city of Willamina has billed the Willamina School District $3,000 in systems development charges for allegedly creating additional traffic demand by relocating middle schoolers to the Oaken Hills Drive campus.

Sheridan couple arrested by Polk County authorities

A Sheridan man and woman were arrested on multiple charges last week by the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and it's alleged Steven Roy Willis set fire last November 14 to a vacant two-story home southeast of Willamina.
