ELBING -- Paul Minkevitch's church sat gutted and scorched in front of the headstones of Whitewater's well-known families -- Claassen, Busenitz and Harder -- Sunday afternoon.
As he walked with his family around what was left of Emmaus Mennonite, Minkevitch talked with fellow parishioners and fondly remembered what the building's front hall used to look like. Read more
