Business, local government, schools, individuals and fire departments in Boone County have received at least $15.7 million in federal stimulus money, according to various sources.

When a fire chief and two police officers arrived at Fishback Creek on Sunday, they didn't have a lot of choices: A pickup truck was upside down in the freezing water, and the driver was still inside.
