A Three White Settlement ISD schools were under precautionary lockdown for about two hours Wednesday after a felon wandered out of a nearby treatment center.

Through Monday afternoon, more than 14,000 people had voted in the elections, which include a slew of local races ranging from city council seats in Arlington and Fort Worth to school district posts in White Settlement and Mansfield, Tarrant County election records show.

The White Settlement school district is searching for new leadership after reaching a confidential "joint agreement" that allows Superintendent Audrey Arnold to retire after serving in the post for five years.
