WINCHESTER -- Authorities identified a body found in West Virginia Saturday as that of Kayleigh Marie Plamondon, who had been missing since June 9. Plamondon has been named as the estranged girlfriend of Justin Shane Slater who stands charged with the murder of his brother, Gregory Scott Slater Jr.

A Shenandoah County Circuit Court grand jury indicted an Edinburg man late last month on charges that he maliciously wounded and attempted to rape a 16-year-old girl.
