Two men who allegedly assaulted a couple with weapons at their residence on Highway 160 on Feb.

On Friday, Jan. 6, agents with the Fourth Judicial Task Force, with assistance from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and Dandridge Police Department, conducted an undercover drug operation on the suspect Steven Jorge of White Pine, according to a press release from the Cocke County Sheriff's Department.

Authorities announced today that a Jan. 6 undercover drug operation in White Pine led to five arrests and several marijuana growing operation.

A three-vehicle accident on Highway 25E at Odell Road on Thursday, Dec. 22, resulted in one man arrested for DUI and the injury of a pregnant woman, law enforcement officers said.
