UTC student killed in crash by apparent drunk driver near her Nashville area home

Katie Kerr, a senior at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga planning to graduate this summer, was killed when her car, a Nissan Sentra, collided head-on with a 1996 Jeep Cherokee driven by Ian McClellan around 2 a.m. Wednesday.

Its a shame that another great girl got killed because of an ADULTs stupidity! When are people gonna learn to stop drinkin and drivin? How many people have to die until this is learned?? I lost 2 wonderful girls last year around the 4th of July and now Ive lost a great friend that had her life ahead of her because some guy wanted to get drunk on Cinco De Mayo. This is truley unfair! These kids shouldnt have to lose their lives because of someone elses mistake!REST IN PEACE KATIE DEETTE KERR! GIRL WE LOVE U AND HOPE THIS MAN GETS WHATS COMIN TO HIM!!!
