A Wheatland woman was airlifted to St. John's Hospital in Springfield on Saturday morning after she crashed her sport-utility vehicle in Hickory County.

A woman was flown to a Springfield hospital Tuesday after a Hickory County crash, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Eric Turner calls Springfield home, but said his heart always will be in his hometown of Hermitage.

Competing for a Show-Me Racin' Series championship was not on Justin Wells' radar when the season began.

There have been reports of street flooding in Springfield, including Bennett Street east of Parkview High School and at Commercial Street and Glenstone Avenue and Commercial Street and National Avenue, according to the National Weather Service.
