They went through the red tape and the meetings and kept their cool despite the horrible problems they've had.(Can you imagine not having drinkable water in this day and age? We're not a 3rd world country! Having to use bottled water for baby bottles and brushing your teeth and...) I called to ask how long the actual work would take - estimates are about 4 mo (I guess depending on weather?)- so THIS YEAR!! WOOOOOHOOOO

She's going to be so excited to hear this. Congrats to everyone from Greenwood and our county commission for working so hard to make this possible! anyone need a water filtration system that would work on a cruise ship out at sea? This is one water bill I'll never complain about paying!

I'm really happy for her. I don't know how the Greenwood businesses have held up at all. Lack of basics - water, internet, reliable electicity, are discouraging at home - but for a business - eeeek! Doddridge is really hurting for overnight lodging, so she should do well. Wish her the best!!!:)
