If the BB's don't exist, what do we call all those boys (and girls) who are tatted-up with "BRK" and "XIV." Since they're all decked-out in red, maybe they're just a newly formed youth softball league.
No kidding

These young persons are just out doing the good works of St. Vincent de Paul. Why, to call them a "gang" is racist and outrageous. The "BRK" really means "Boys Really Kare" and the "XIV" is the speed-dial number to reach them to ask them to mow your lawn, which they will do for free. And the crime in W. Sac? More than likely done by white supremecists trying to get these little boys in trouble. Because we all know, mexicans don't belong to "gangs."

They cited the April 30 shooting death of Luis Gutierrez on the Gum Avenue overcrossing in Woodland by members of the Yolo County Sheriff's Department anti-gang task force as an example.

What foolish people. How is it they get air time? I would like to see the rap-sheet on each of them, including the CO. He's probably in charge of the local "Prison Gang". Get a clue people crime is down because of the injunction. XIV for free lawn mowing?? NICE LOL!! Calling Now!

Injunctions only move gangs to other areas. Look up "Primera Flats gang", in Los Angeles. When the Aliso Village housing projects in East LA were closed down in 2000, proponents pointed to the gang losing its turf as a positive result from the project. This gang has just sprung up cliques in other parts of LA, and are slowly becoming the new 18th street ( a large LA gang that with the help of injunctions and deportations, have gone world wide). Injunctions are just a thinly veiled measure to give an area a "once over" for pending real estate projects. Gangs are not the only targets of injunctions. They try to expand the criteria as far as they can into using the injunction to discourage Chicano and black culture in neighborhoods, too. They're trying to give the neighborhood's longtime residents the message that it is no longer their neighborhood, and they'll be much happier if they move. It's a shameless, backdoor strategy to eminent domain, and evidently it won't catch the attention of middle class Americans until similar measures begin to be enacted on them.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Virgo

You aren't fooling anyone - it's easy for everyone else to see that inexperienced people are unaware of their obligations, Virgo. You're grumpy about starting a familiar process from the beginning again, but don't let that get in the way of getting on with it. Sour grapes have no place in your daily dealings. Although you may 'own' a project, it's ultimately in the hands of someone else. Deal with it and then move on.
