Police said an Arlington woman is facing a criminal charge and multiple civil violations after she crashed her vehicle into a cemetery and failed to report the accident.

Some rural post offices in Vermont will remain open but will have reduced hours under a new plan floated by the U.S. Postal Service on Wednesday.

Depending on where you sit, bunching Manchester, Arlington, Sandgate and part of Sunderland into a two-member district as part of the mandated reapportionment of the legislature that lawmakers came up with last week is either a creative idea to solve a vexing problem or a dodge of dealing with the root of the problem at its source.

Manchester and Arlington could find themselves in a two-member district along with Sandgate and most, but not all, of Sunderland, should a new redistricting proposal receive a legislative stamp of approval.
