Route 114 west of Prestonsburg is currently shut down, following a two-car wreck with multiple injuries.

Following a theft of "several hundred feet" of telephone lines that led to a five-day outage of phone and internet service in one of Floyd County's primary commercial areas, AT&T is hoping a $2,500 reward will entice someone to step forward with information about the crime.

Thieves stole "several hundred feet" of telephone cable between Sunday night and Monday morning, knocking out phone and internet service to a wide area.

Complaints from local residents are coming in as an oft-maligned Floyd County road is needing some attention once again.
