Mail theft suspect arrested in Menlo Park
Police have made an arrest in connection with thefts of mail from residential mailboxes in West Menlo Park, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
Daycare center opponents appeal county' decision
Opponents of a plan to open a 24-child daycare center in a residential area of West Menlo Park say they are already in the process of appealing a decision by the San Mateo County Planning Commission to approve a permit for the center.

Community meetings ahead for new charter high school
Backers of a proposal for a new charter high school in the Sequoia Union High School District are holding two community and fundraising meetings, both at 7 p.m. - on Thursday, Jan. 23, at the Bethany Lutheran Church at 1095 Cloud Ave. in West Menlo Park, and on Monday, Feb. 3, the Fair Oaks Library at 2510 Middlefield Road in Redwood City.
