Motorcycle injury accident near West Liberty

A local man was injured in a motorcycle crash on County Road 1 near West Liberty Tuesday night around 7:15. The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that James Ducat, 35, of 618 East Pike Street, Jackson Center, was driving a 2012 Kawasaki Ninja southbound on County Road 1 when he veered left of center on the curve near County Road 47.

Serious injury crash on Route 68

A passenger suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Route 68 south of Bellefontaine Friday afternoon around 1:45. The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Mary Powell, 83, of West Liberty, was transported from the scene by MedFlight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

Teen driver injured in three-car accident

The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Timothy Sherer, 18, of 212 East Palmer Avenue, Bellefontaine, was driving a 2000 Honda Accord northbound on 68 when he rear-ended a 2003 Chevy Silverado operated by Donald Hostetler, 87, of Green Hills, West Liberty.
