Probably so although there are other pretty nice college towns in the Midwest and all across the country.

Just don't tell people from Kentucky about how nice West Lafayette really is and most of the area. They seem to have a problem with Hoosiers anyway. I think because Kentuckians have an inferiority complex with their state.
