2 Killed In Chester County Car Crash
A young driver and his passenger were killed following a single-car crash in Chester County late Monday night.
Police said a Chevy Blazer struck a utility pole on the 1300 block of Burke Road in West Whiteland Township at about 11 p.m.
Investigators believe the driver of the vehicle, identified as 16-year-old Robert Melson of West Chester, lost control while heading north on Burke Road, striking the utility pole which caused the SUV to roll several times.
Officers arrived to find the driver of the vehicle, identified as, partially ejected. The unidentified passenger was found a short distance away, apparently ejected while the vehicle rolled.
