Owners of pub in Wentzville claim harassment by police

I would testify for the police in this matter! This bar had their underage son drinking in it , I hope they loose! They have had drugs in and out of that bar , they do not put a limit on people at all! The owners drink then get in their cars - the wentzville police are just saving lives and doing their job!

yep, this place is bad news; use to be nice but now all they have in there are druggies and underage kids that like head banging music. I will never go in there again after my last 2 experiences, i seriously thought maybe there was new owners.

We used to like this place (went every weekend)....not anymore. The bartenders suck, i've seen the owners bring liquor purchaced from the local grocery store and re-sell to their own customers-toally illegal!!!! Asked one evening for a drink that has iced tea in it and the bartender said she doesn't feel like makeing the tea....Ray said to me "if she doesn't want to make, I can't make her". We have never been back.

yep, bad news. i will never set my body in there. There are way too many "nice" bars in Wentzville. They are loosing business not because of the police, but because of running a drug infested bar and an alcholic owner who can't walk straight.

heard this pub is promoting for a political fundraiser to take place there. Guess they think if they can't make the police quit doing their job they will promote someone who will make our police stop doing what they are suppose to do. Other bars in the area have bar checks and they don't complain because they are following the law.

Doesn't surprise me about this establishment. Owner has a drunk for a husband and a son who is trouble. Anyone who is being promoted by them will not get my vote or my neighbors vote. We live down the street and we KNOW what is going on at this place.

First of all I live in Wentzville and the young cocky cops that think they can harrass anyone is bullshit. The harrassment to the pub is true and there are video's of it. As far as the comment about their underage son drinking well get your facts straight before you run your trap about something you dont know for a fact because the owners son is 25 yrs old(he looks young but he is of age) second all the bartenders and the bouncer at the door cards every person that walks through the door. Third the owners Gerri and Ray arent in the bar very often except Friday nights and maybe one night here and there but they are NOT big drinkers plus if one of them drinks the other drives. So next time you want to run your mouth about something you have no clue about do us all a favor and keep it shut. idiot

Really- how can you harass a pub? It is an inanimate object, not able to be harassed. Furthermore, a video's what? The apostrophe indicates possession... so I'm still trying to figure out what you really mean.
Aside from that, the establishment has several claims made against it. Some are undoubtedly true. The Wentzville PD also has skeletons in the closet. Some of the claims probably have some merit.

So you know I dont have any agenda and I really could care less about my spelling on this page. Does it make you feel better about yourself to pick at other people about their spelling. Believe me I have no problem spelling I am very educated and probly make more money than you do but thats not what I am writing on here for. Everyone needs to stop making stupid comments about someyone tthing they know nothing about. The Warren family has done NOTHING to any of you but yet you all continue to judge them as if you knew them. They are good people so what if their son has a few issues why is that any of your concern. He doesnt bring it into the bar and by NO MEANS is that bar a drug bar. So unless you have went in and bought drugs there dont run your trap. I go in there every now and then and I have a good time not once have I heard anything about drugs or anything crazy like that. The drug rumor is jus evert one person thats bored and doesnt have a life so they start rumors that dumbass people like to keep spreading. The pub is kinda like cheers...local residents that want to go have a drink and relax or just have a good time. as far as them bringing in alcohol from the store and re-selling it, thats completley wrong. Obviously that person doesnt know how to read because I was there that night to see the band and if they would have read right it was nothing more than bloody mary mix (no alcohol). So to whomever wants to down the pub make sure your statements are correct before you make them cuz majority of you commenting on here dont have a clue what you are talking about. Go meet Gerri and Ray before you decide you dont like them or their bar because you might actually like it.

let me comment on my spelling and grammer re: my last comment because I am sure someone will have a smartass comment about it. I know there are errors but I am at work and so I am trying to post my reply as fast as possable so I can get back to work. But seriously try the pub it is not as bad as everyone is saying. The dj will play whatever music is requested and its always a mix of country, rock, hip hop, etc. its a very nice bar. The cops harrass them by sitting down the street and they pull over whoever comes out so dont tell me they arent harrassing anyone. They dont do that to anyone from any of the other bars but I guess maybe you have to sleep w/someone high up to keep them from harrassing you. Why isnt anyone talking about a certain Wentzville bar owner that got a dwi recently oh wait thats probly because the dwi just mysteriously disappeared (hmmm who are they sleeping with).

So- once again, you say we should meet Geri and Ray. This indicates you are familiar with them. Thus your agenda.

As I said before, some of the claims made against the bar are most likely true, and several against the Wentzville PD are true.

Anyway, more enforcement needs done on bars, and oversight on police.

I'm sry mother and the police this is the real Devin Piglowski. This was only a joke and i did not know all the facts behind the story about the owners of the pub. I should of got the police side of the story instead of being very bias. This of courcse was wrong of me, so i again apologize to all Wentzville police.

I think you are all clueless. Everyone says the pub is a drug bar but sorry its not maybe you are all thinking of the bar down the street. Crazy Horse that is a biker bar. Old Town Pub is a cheers type of bar. I think you are all nuts and need to get your heads examined. How would you all like it if the cops consistantley parked in front of your house and just sat there for no reason or if you owned a busisness and they chased all of your customers away and ran you out of busisness? then you would be doing the same thing they are. Wentzville cops are VERY CORRUPT. They just beat the hell out of some innocent guy at Caddyshack. Basically the whole wedding party that was involved were all off duty Wentzville cops and they fig. they could get away with beating the hell outta this guy. ITS NOT RIGHT and for those of you that think wentzville cops are the greatest need your head examined cuz you are either blind to the situation or just dumb. So maybe you all need to rethink your opinions cuz its not just old town pub or caddyshack that this is happening to there are a few more places in wentzville that this has happened
