The Yuma area's history didn't begin with Arizona statehood 100 years ago - although that certainly was an important happening.

She has worked for the U.S. Postal Service for more than 20 years. Most recently she was the postmaster in Gadsden, a position she held since 1999.

A sheriff's official in Arizona's Yuma County says a couple who committed suicide last month planned to lure deputies to their remote home and kill as many as possible before ending their own lives.
