Early last month the New York State Comptroller's Office filed an audit review of Wells Central School District citing two problems the district had to fix.

Fulton and Hamilton counties have filed separate lawsuits against the Hudson River-Black River Regulating District for its failure to pay nearly $2 million in taxes - including nearly $1 million to three schools - for Great Sacandaga Lake property.

At INDIAN LAKE, the budget passed 172-48. It totals $5,822,831, a 0.68 percent increase.
