A 22-year-old Weippe man was taken to Clearwater Valley Hospital for injuries sustained during a fight at a residence in Weippe on June 27 at approximately 3 a.m. According to witnesses, the man, whose name is being withheld at this time, brought a weapon to the house and pointed it at several people before leaving with one other male.
Mark your calendars for the Pierce-Weippe Chamber Wine Tasting on Saturday, July 11, 6 - 8:30 p.m. The event will be held in the Timber Inn Courtyard and will feature four red wines, three white wines and one sparkling wine.

On Wednesday, July 8, Alyse Cadez from the National Park Service will be doing a nature presentation at 1 p.m. Crafts will be before and after the presentation.

The first 11 days in June have flown by. Evening temperatures have been cool; the thermometer registered a low of 40 degrees on Saturday and Sunday evening.
Mike Elsbury is class Salutatorian. Isaac is the son of Joanne and Mark Brandt and Matt is the son of Don and Kathy Goetsch and Mike is the son of John and Nancy Jo Elsbury of Peck.
Mobile Food Pantry in Pierce June 15
The Idaho Food Bank 'Mobile Food Pantry' will distribute food in Pierce at the Faith Lutheran Church, 611 S. Main, parking lot on the third Monday of each month between the hours of 12 noon and 2 p.m. starting Monday, June 15.

The weather in Fraser has turned toward summer. The change happened last Friday; the sun came out after four days of cold temperatures and rain.
