Weiner Rice Festival celebrates the industry in the area

I enjoyed the RF very much this year. There was a big turnout despite the weather. Had it not rained, there would have been a softball tourney and lawnmower race. That would have really brought in more people. The only thing I was disappointed in was the street dance. The band was very good, but it was so cold that everyone went in. It was great that the RF did so many things for the kids this year that was free. I know it helped the parents. The school day was a big success despite the rain. Events that could be held inside were and the kids had a ball. Lets start getting ready for next year!

I agree it would have been great if the weather had not been so bad.
