Artifacts from the 18th and 19th century including weaponry and tools and a 16-foot skiff, which may be the only surviving one of its kind used exclusively in Wood County, are among recently acquired items at the Blennerhassett Museum of Regional History.

Barry Calebaugh, president of the Waverly Lions Club, said the festival has grown over the past seven years and by early Saturday afternoon, about 200 had come to the exhibition area.
