My family has owned property for well over thirty years in Waveland. For ten years before I fought with the county and the city about a neighbor who had nothing but junk and trash also raw sewerage that poured out of his crappy trailer on to the ground to no avail. Recently I went to apply for a building permit to repair my home and was met by uncaring unconcerned city workers who told me of all the new restrictions on building. The home next door was mine at the time of the storm. I sold it to someone who remodeled it and it was the same height as my home. Now I am told it has to be raised why? I am so sick of the politics and corruption I would never return to this little piece of hell. I will also tell anyone who even has a thought of buying in Waveland to go anywhere else but there. It has no charm, dignity, fairness or sense of loyalty to people who paid taxes and put up with their corruption for over thirty years. So all you idiots who keep electing the good old boys I hope you all get what you deserve which is a corrupt little stink hole where no one wants to be. It is appalling that in this day and age people are so stupid they put up with this. You will never grow or be anything but a place people pass through to gamble. I hope you are all happy and get what you deserve which is nothing except helping the thieves get richer.
