Missouri trooper: Man who stole plane hoped to be shot down
New York - The Missouri trooper who arrested a man suspected of stealing a plane in Canada and landing it on a Missouri highway told him he wanted to be shot down by military jets.

Driver hospitalized following accident
WATSON, Mo. a ' A 39-year-old Iowa truck driver was hospitalized after a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 29, about eight miles north of Watson in Atchison County.
