Waskom VFD thanks community for supporting annual fund-raiser
Thanks to the support from area businesses, individuals, and community groups, the Waskom Volunteer Fire Department had a successful fund-raiser. Jack Dillard did his usual wonderful job as auctioneer and the Waskom High School Cafeteria was made available for the annual event.
A single-vehicle roll over at 8 p.m. Thursday on County Road 1205 near Waskom claimed the life of a Marshall man and sent another to the hospital with unknown injuries.
