A search warrant executed at a Washington Street apartment complex last week has led to an ongoing investigation into heroin trafficking in the village.

Albert Bell, 19, last known address on Market Street, Akron, is wanted on charges of fourth-degree felony receiving stolen property and third-degree felony escape after he fled the booking room at the Leetonia police station following his arrest for having a stolen car.

Store management stopped her for allegedly shoplifting $46 worth of items, including steaks, steak sauce, sugar and potatoes.

William F. Kennedy, 62, of Columbiana, died suddenly at 12:46 pm Friday, January 20, 2012, at Salem Community Hospital.

Robert served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of Joe Williams Post #131 of the American Legion.
