Police find charred remains of murder suspect
During the early morning hours of Nov. 1, the Washburn County Sheriff's Office was notified by the Sawyer County Sheriff's Office that during the investigation of a structure fire in Edgewater Township, a body was located that appeared to be the victim of a homicide.
Donald K. Nyberg, 78, died Oct. 24, 2009, at a local hospital. He was born July 16, 1931, in Ironwood, Mich., to the late Axel and Aune Nyberg.
