A second woman has been arrested for allegedly beating a 4-year-old child. Kosciosko County Sheriff's deputies arrested 30-year-old Jolene Swihart last night at her Warsaw home.

Jolene Marie Swihart, 30, of the 1600 block of East County Road 200 North, Warsaw, was arrested at 9:13 p.m. Wednesday on a preliminary charge of battery resulting in serious bodily injury to a victim less than 14 years old, according to a written statement issued Thursday by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department.
